 Annette Surtees is the Founder and CEO of Surtees Solutions and is a Certified Business and Life Coach as well as Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner. Being a successful business woman can be unbelievably satisfying, exciting, stimulating and rewarding.  The rewards come in terms of high self-esteem, business successes, business relationships, compensation and other benefits.  While business women can realize the rewards of their careers, we face true challenges whether it is in a large corporate environment, small business atmosphere or at home.  Our challenges can range from managing our time efficiently, prioritizing, stress overload, balancing personal and work life, career advancement, career transition, dealing with difficult personalities, business strategy decisions, leadership development, interpersonal relationships, communications skills, uncovering true purpose and passion, competition, employee issues and lack of energy to name quite a few.  

The wonderful news is that it is possible to feel that your work life and personal life are balanced and serene, that you are making steady progress in your career and feeling true happiness while doing that, actually living your true values and realizing your passions, having personal relationships that are deep and content, having business relationships that are strong with clear communication, always feeling prepared and organized for work opportunities, having a well defined business strategy and meeting those targets and above all else, being stress free, relaxed and happy with life. 

Annette knows personally the joy and anxiety that being in business can cause.  She is a woman who has realized her career goals with 25 years of business experience in HR, 10 of which were as  Vice Presidents of HR in a very large high tech company as well as a successful software start up in Silicone Valley.   She has experienced all of the above and her passion is to work with other women to partner and uncover their true potential and reach their ultimate level of success as they define it.  She has mentored and coached many people who have become senior executives in the valley.  After a successful corporate career and traveling globally for 25 plus years, she realized her life long dream of moving to a country setting where she has her horses and dog, has established her own business doing the things she loves most, coaching women, consulting and contributing to her community. 

As an HR consultant, Annette understands business issues and uses them to develop progressive human resource strategies. She provides confidential and highly focused collaboration for each professional engagement. Ranging from a strategic needs assessment, leading project teams, developing and implementing policy and processes to providing interim HR management, and can assist you in achieving the optimal business results you should expect from a Human Resources perspective.
